These terms govern your use of Mathfold at mathfold.com, including the converter, Pro subscriptions and the developer API ("the service"). By using the service you agree to them.
The service
Mathfold converts Markdown and similar text into Word (.docx) and PDF documents. Free accounts receive a monthly allowance of downloads that may carry a watermark. Pro subscriptions remove the watermark and raise the allowances described on the pricing section.
Accounts
You sign in with a Google account and are responsible for activity under your account and API keys. Keep API keys secret; you can revoke them on the developers page at any time.
Payments and our merchant of record
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Subscriptions renew automatically each month or year until cancelled. You can cancel at any time; Pro remains active until the end of the period you have paid for. Prices are shown in US dollars and may include sales tax or VAT calculated by Paddle.
Refunds
Refunds are handled as described in our refund policy.
Acceptable use
Do not use the service to break the law, infringe others' rights, distribute malware, or overload or probe our systems. We apply rate limits and may suspend accounts that abuse the service.
Your content
You keep all rights to the documents you convert. You give us only the permission needed to process them for the moment of the conversion. Documents are not stored.
Availability and changes
We work to keep the service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. We may change features or these terms; material changes will be announced on the website before they take effect.
Liability
The service is provided "as is". Please review generated documents before relying on them. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence.
